CIP services for outbound flights (originating from Tehran - Imam Khomeini Airport) often make passengers believe that simply reserving a CIP from their home or hotel starts the service. However, this is not the case, as airport transfer services (taxi) must be booked separately. Therefore, with a CIP reservation, services from the ceremonial site or the CIP building at the airport will be provided, which include:

• Transporting passenger luggage from the car door to the luggage area
• Dedicated police inspections
• Passenger reception at a dedicated counter
• Issuance of boarding passes and luggage receipts
• Relaxation in a private lounge with a view of the airport runway
• High-speed internet
• Catering and buffet with a variety of drinks and both Iranian and international foods
• A dedicated passport area

Upon the passenger's entry into the CIP building at Imam Khomeini Airport, the luggage service team will take over and inspect the passenger during the luggage handling. Then, the passenger is welcomed at the reception area and provides the necessary documents including ticket, passport, visa, or residency documents of the destination country. After the reception process is complete, the passenger enters a lounge designed with chic and modern decor. While the CIP operational team handles the administrative matters related to the flight, the passenger enjoys the lounge facilities and is hosted with a variety of beverages and food.

For inbound flights, after booking a CIP at Imam Airport, CIP personnel are present at the foot of the flight with a board bearing the name(s) of the passenger(s) based on the information announced on the flight day and the airplane's arrival time. As the passenger exits the airplane and sees their name, they introduce themselves to the CIP personnel and are then escorted by a special CIP vehicle from the airplane to the CIP lounge. Upon entry, if the passenger has luggage in the cargo area, they notify the personnel, who simultaneously proceed to the cargo section to retrieve the passenger's luggage while the passenger passes through the passport section and is hosted in the private lounge until they receive their passport and luggage. The service concludes with the passenger receiving their luggage and passport.

In this section, we have mentioned important points that you should consider when making a reservation:

• Before booking services, study the terms for cancellations and flight changes carefully, then proceed with the reservation.
• For inbound flights, specify the date and time of arrival to Iran and Imam Airport.
• The national ID of the passenger or the passport number is required for booking.
• For incoming Emirates flight passengers, it is not possible to reserve a wheelchair upon request.
• For outbound flights, if a pet is checked in as baggage, it will incur a fee.
• The usage duration of the CIP lounge for passengers and companions is 4 hours; any additional time will be charged extra.
• Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines' outbound flights do not offer CIP services, and it is not possible to book CIP at Imam Airport for these flights.
• Inbound and outbound flights from Baghdad and Najaf do not utilize the CIP lounge.
• Business class passengers of Emirates, Fly Dubai, Iran Air, and Mahan enjoy complimentary CIP services.
• It is not possible to reserve CIP services at Imam Airport for passengers of Salam Terminal flights.
